These images are from an installation by artist Daniel Palacois. The piece is titled Waves and is represented by a rope that is mechanically spun at various speeds to produce a 3 dimensional wave that creates sound. A very simple idea makes for some beautiful imagery.

This is a really beautiful piece of art direction by Bjoen Ewers for the Berliner Philharmoniker. His concept of showing the spaces, materials, light , shadow and depth within instruments is really stunning.
