These images are of a hanging lamp shade designed by Benjamin Hurbert. The lamp called Tenda, meaning tent in Italian, is made of fiberglass rods for kites, Lycra used for sportswear and a synthetic mesh fabric used for underwear. Combined together makes for a very cool lamp.

These images are of a very cool design for an adjustable light by designer Peter Toronyi and was inspired by the light and shadow effects of the solar eclipse. The light panels are held together by magnets and can be rotated around their pivot points…the effect of which either casts a shadow or intensifies the light.

This is a really beautiful piece of art direction by Bjoen Ewers for the Berliner Philharmoniker. His concept of showing the spaces, materials, light , shadow and depth within instruments is really stunning.
