Love this stencil map of the Hutong District in China by Instant Hutong. Would be a cool way to highlight places of interest in cities through street art.

Interesting carpet designs by Instant Hutong. The project was started in 2006 and the idea was to highlight the urban settlement heritage of the old districts under threat of demolition from Beijing city development. The idea to incorporate way finding, maps and plans where people can recognize and find the streets familiar to them as a way to highlight the issue is interesting.
